NTUC-SUSS Sponsorship

Driven by a strong commitment to lifelong learning and skills development, the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) offers a range of sponsorship opportunities for both new and existing students pursuing their academic journey with the University.

The NTUC‑SUSS Sponsorship Scheme is designed to empower deserving candidates to enrol in SUSS undergraduate programmes, supporting them in building future‑ready capabilities and practical skills for life. Through this sponsorship, students are enabled to unlock their potential, advance their careers, and contribute meaningfully to the workforce and society.

Who is Eligible?

The sponsorship is open to all NTUC Union Members. You should be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities. You must also not already be a degree holder.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study being applied for at the University. They must separately seek admission to the programme, and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.

Application period for SUSS part-time undergraduate and graduate degree programmes' sponsorship is open from 1 February to 15 March 2026. Applicants must submit their application by 15 March 2026 for the July 2026 intake.

Tenure of Sponsorship

The sponsorship is awarded for the period required to complete the full programme of study.

Value of Sponsorship

The value of the sponsorship is as follows:

• Singapore Citizens who are eligible for government subsidy - The award will cover up to 80% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy)
• Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above who are eligible for government subsidy - The award will cover up to 92% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy and Skillsfuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy). More information on SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy
• Singapore Permanent Residents who are eligible for government subsidy - The award will cover up to 60% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy)
• Students who are not eligible for government subsidy - The award will cover up to 50% of the total course fee.
